Postdoctoral Position in Wind Energy, USA

Scholarship Description: Applications are sought for a post-doctoral position to simulate, analyze and measure wind turbine wakes. The research will be conducted using computational fluid dynamics codes, engineering and analytical models and state of the art equipment using Doppler lidars. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with wake modeling groups on an international scale.
The successful applicant will be familiar with a range of programming languages and have a background in wind energy, atmospheric science or physical science/engineering. The start date is as soon as possible and no later than 1 February 2011.
