General Summary of Position: The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Electrical Engineering. Outstanding candidates with a proven track record of independent funding and publications will be considered at the Associate or Full Professor level. We are seeking to fill research and teaching needs in one or more of the following areas: energy and power systems (including smart grid technologies, materials related to energy), biomedical engineering, MEMS, RF/microwave devices and antennas, sensors and electromagnetic research.

Minimum Qualifications: -Earned Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or closely related disciplines

Preferred Qualifications: -Ability to teach at the undergraduate or graduate level
-Record of accomplishment indicative of the ability to develop and sustain a strong, externally funded research program

Special Instructions: Review of applications will begin on March 1, 2011 and continue until the position is filled. However, the position may close when an adequate number of qualified applications are received.

    Nice information Vacant academic positions. Educational allowance is paid in spite of any other benefits you might be receiving from the government. University students generally receive help from the government with fees and living costs. Thanks a lot.
